As part of our “Parent Voices” series, we sat down with Chhavi, a parent of two children, to hear about her family’s Montessori journey. From their first enrolment in 2020 to watching both children grow into confident, independent learners, Chhavi reflects on the supportive, nurturing experience her family has had at Hoppers Crossing Montessori Centre.

When their first child joined in 2020, the difference was clear. He became more independent, developed a love for learning, and felt safe and secure in his environment. Those positive experiences made the decision easy when it came time to enrol their younger child. From the very first day, he felt comfortable, safe, and quickly began to flourish with his teachers.

Educators Who Go the Extra Mile

Chhavi describes the educators as kind, patient, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure children feel loved, encouraged, and safe. This dedication has created an environment where her children thrive with confidence.

Developing Independence and a Love of Learning

Even after just a few months at the Centre, her youngest had become more independent in his daily routines. He also developed a genuine joy for learning. Montessori’s hands-on approach helped both children cultivate confidence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills that support their everyday lives.

Partnership with Parents

Open communication with the educators has been a major strength for the family. Whenever challenges arose, the teachers provided thoughtful, age-appropriate solutions that respected the children’s needs. This supportive partnership made the family feel heard and reassured.
