Vision for Reconciliation

The vision for Hoppers Crossing Montessori is one that embraces connectivity between the wider community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward creating a nation strengthened and fuelled by connectivity and connection. A nation run by respectful relationships between the wider Australian Community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, free from discrimination.

We are committed to working in a respectful way with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, Organisations and Communities. HCMC will make an effort to help the children, staff and families be aware of the rich and diverse histories, cultures and practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As a Montessori Centre, we want to ensure the younger generation connect and learn about the rich and diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
