A Special Visit from One of Our Own – Author Ajay Comes Home to HCMC

There are visits that leave a lasting impression — and this was certainly one of them. Hoppers Crossing Montessori Centre was recently treated to a very special and heartwarming occasion when former student Ajay returned to the place where his own learning journey began, this time as a published author.

Ajay’s visit was a powerful reminder of what is possible when children are nurtured, encouraged, and given the confidence to believe in themselves. Watching him walk back through our doors — now with a book of his own in hand — filled our hearts with enormous pride.

A Story Worth Sharing

Ajay sat with our kinder children and read aloud from his very own book, captivating his young audience from the very first page. The children were engaged, curious, and clearly inspired by the young man in front of them — someone who had once sat in the very same space they now call their own.

But what made this visit particularly meaningful was the message behind the book. Ajay shared openly and thoughtfully about why he felt compelled to write it — a desire to encourage more meaningful, face-to-face conversations in a world increasingly dominated by screens and gadgets. His words resonated deeply, sparking genuine reflection among both children and educators alike.

At a time when so much of childhood is competed for by devices and digital distractions, Ajay’s message was a breath of fresh air — a reminder that real connection, real conversation, and real storytelling still matter enormously.

The Children’s Response

Our kinder children were wonderful. They listened intently, asked thoughtful questions, and showed genuine enthusiasm throughout the visit. Seeing their eyes light up as Ajay read to them was a beautiful moment — one that reinforced just how powerful it is for young children to see someone relatable achieving something remarkable.

At HCMC, we believe that inspiration can come from anywhere — and sometimes, it comes from someone who was once a child just like them, sitting in the very same room.

To Ajay — thank you for coming back, for sharing your story, and for reminding our children (and all of us) that their voices, their ideas, and their stories matter. We could not be prouder of the young man you have become.
