Camp Quality Puppet Show

On Tuesday, July 30th, we were delighted to welcome Emma and Anna from Camp Quality to our Centre for a special presentation to our kindergarten children. The incursion featured a wonderful skit designed to educate children about Cancer in a friendly and accessible way.

The skit introduced us to a girl named Arial who had been diagnosed with Cancer and was undergoing Chemotherapy. Her big brother, Tom, visited her at the hospital, and together, they took us on a heartwarming journey to cheer up Arial.

Emma and Anna skillfully used this engaging storyline to explain complex topics about Cancer, treatment, and the importance of support and positivity. Through Tom’s efforts to lift Arial’s spirits, the children learned about empathy, resilience, and the power of love and family during challenging times.

The children were captivated by the skit and actively participated in the discussions, asking thoughtful questions, and sharing their own ideas. The characters of Arial and Tom made the information relatable, ensuring the children understood the message in a comforting and reassuring manner.
