Celebrating School Tree Day at Hoppers Crossing Montessori Centre

During the week of July 22nd to 26th, Hoppers Crossing Montessori Centre joyfully celebrated School Tree Day with a series of engaging and environmentally focused activities. We were delighted to invite parents and children to join us for various planting and crafting events throughout the week, fostering a strong sense of community and environmental kinship.

Throughout the week, families and children collaborated in planting seeds and succulents, and creatively painting pots. These hands-on activities provided valuable learning experiences, emphasizing the importance of caring for our environment and nurturing plant life. The joy and enthusiasm of both children and parents were evident as they worked together, learning about different types of plants and how to care for them.

The highlight of our celebration was on July 26th, when we hosted a special tree planting event. Families and children gathered together to plant indoor trees, contributing to the greening of our community and creating lasting memories. The event was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and make a positive impact on our environment.

At Hoppers Crossing Montessori Centre, we believe in the power of hands-on learning and community involvement to instill values of environmental stewardship and kinship in our children.
