From October 23rd to November 1st, Hoppers Crossing Montessori lit up with the vibrant colours and festive spirit of Diwali and Grandparents Day! This cherished annual celebration brought together families, educators, and children, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth and joy as we honoured these special occasions.
Each classroom embraced the Diwali festivities with a range of exciting activities. The children enjoyed Diya painting, Rangoli colouring, and storytelling, immersing themselves in the rich traditions of Diwali. Bollywood dance sessions were a big hit, filling our Centre with lively music and happy dance moves that everyone loved.
A highlight of the event was the carefully curated Diwali menu, prepared with care by Nadia and Raman. Families got to enjoy a taste of India with a variety of snacks and traditional dishes. Adding a sweet touch, our director, Poonam, personally crafted an assortment of homemade Indian sweets-Ladoos and Kalakand, gifted to each family as a gesture of appreciation.
This celebration of Diwali and Grandparents Day not only embraced cultural diversity but also strengthened our community connections. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this event truly memorable. Your efforts and enthusiasm brought warmth and joy to our celebrations, and we look forward to sharing many more special moments together in the future!
