On Wednesday, the 26th of June, our kinder children had a fantastic time participating in a lively music incursion led by Jessie from Mini Monsters! The session brought a wave of energy and excitement as the children explored music through rhythm, movement, and hands-on play.
With a focus on fun and learning, Jessie introduced the children to xylophones and clapping sticks, engaging them in interactive games that encouraged listening, coordination, and creativity. The children joyfully tapped out rhythms, followed musical patterns, and played along as a group, building not only their musical awareness but also their confidence.
The xylophones gave the children a chance to experiment with different notes and sounds, while the clapping sticks supported their understanding of beat and timing. These playful activities also helped develop important skills such as fine motor control, auditory memory, turn-taking, and focus.
It was a delight to see our kinder children so immersed in the musical experience, expressing themselves and connecting with their peers through rhythm and sound.
