Dental Health Day at Hoppers Crossing Montessori Centre

On Friday, the 21st of March, Hoppers Crossing Montessori Centre hosted a special event dedicated to dental health. We were thrilled to welcome Dr. Mehak Chopra, a skilled dentist, along with her assistant Myar the Tooth Fairy, to educate our children about the importance of caring for their teeth.

Dr. Mehak and Myar the Tooth Fairy led an engaging session for all the children. They covered the basics of dental hygiene, including proper brushing and flossing techniques, the importance of a healthy diet for strong teeth, and the need for regular dental check-ups. Myar the Tooth Fairy’s magical presence mesmerised the children, which made the learning experience even more enjoyable.

Following the informative session, our kindergarten children had the unique opportunity to visit the dental clinic next door. This hands-on experience allowed them to become familiar with a real dental environment. The children eagerly sat in the dental chair as Dr. Mehak performed gentle check-ups on their teeth. This experience was designed to help reduce any fear they might have about visiting the dentist in the future.
