Some places never leave you — and for many of our families, Hoppers Crossing Montessori Centre is exactly that kind of place. This year, we had the absolute joy of opening our doors once again to celebrate our Reunion 2026, welcoming back the children who have graduated from our service, along with their wonderful families.
The energy in the room was nothing short of beautiful. Familiar faces, warm embraces, and the sound of laughter filling every corner of our centre — it was a celebration of how far our children have come, and a heartfelt acknowledgement of the journey we shared together.
A Celebration of Milestones
Our Reunion 2026 was a celebration for the children who have graduated from HCMC this year. These incredible young people began their learning journey with us as curious little ones, and have grown into confident, capable individuals ready to take on the next exciting chapter of their education. Watching them return — taller, brighter, and brimming with stories — was a moment our educators will treasure deeply.
Reconnecting as a Community
One of the most beautiful aspects of the day was seeing families reconnect with one another. Friendships that were formed in our classrooms and playgrounds were rekindled, conversations flowed freely, and the warmth of shared memories brought everyone together in the most genuine way. It was a powerful reminder that the bonds formed in early childhood extend well beyond the walls of our centre — they become part of the fabric of a family’s story.
For our educators, events like this are a profound reminder of why community is at the heart of everything we do at HCMC. Montessori education is not simply about academic milestones — it is about nurturing a lifelong sense of belonging, and our Reunion is living proof of that.
Revisiting Familiar Spaces
Perhaps one of the most touching moments of the day was watching the children eagerly make their way back into their old rooms. Eyes wide with recognition, they pointed out favourite corners, remembered beloved activities, and enthusiastically shared their school experiences with teachers and with the younger children currently in their care.
For our current kinder children, it was an inspiring glimpse into their own future — seeing older children return with confidence and pride, talking about school with excitement and joy. And for our graduated students, it was a chance to see how much they have grown since those early days of discovery.

To every family who joined us for Reunion 2026 — thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your child’s earliest years of learning. Thank you for being part of our community. And thank you for coming back, because it means the world to us.
